Balint JCC, Budapest, Hungary Profile


The Balint JCC, the only JCC in Hungary, will be 20 years old in October 2014. It is a dynamic meeting place shaped by the traditions and principles of the local Jewish community. The open door policy offers an insight into Jewish culture and community inviting discussions and inspiring social change. It is instrumental in creating links between generations and different organizations. The scrolls of the mezuzahs on the JCC’s doorposts and on its logo represent its multi-layered identity.
