Barak Hermann, CEO, JCC of Greater Baltimore


Since 2012, Barak has been the CEO of the JCC of Greater Baltimore. Prior to coming to Baltimore, Barak was the Executive Director of the JCC of Central New Jersey and Chief Operating Officer / Assistant Executive Director of JCC Metrowest. Barak began his career at the Suffolk Y JCC where he held many positions including Program and Day Camp Director and Director of Eastern Long Island Services. Barak has a Masters in Social Work from Yeshiva University and a BA from Stony Brook University. Barak is a Fellow with the Schusterman Family Foundation which is commited to growing leadership in the Jewish Sector. In summer of 2016, Barak completed a certificate in Strategic Perspectives in Non Profit Management at Harvard University Business School. Barak also has a certificate in Non Profit Management from UJA Federation of New York and Columbia University School of Business. Barak completed the Executive Development Training Program sponsored by JCC As sociation. Barak met his wife Cory in summer camp twenty five years ago and they have three boys: Jacob, Zachary, and Jonah.
