CCJC is located in the heart of a city with 60,000 inhabitants, 10,000 of which are Jewish. It is situated close to a 150 year old modern-orthodox synagogue. The JCC is named after a fantastic and opened mind rabbi, Jerome Cahen, who dreamt about establishing a JCC 30 years ago. We offer a lot of activities including sports and all sorts of cultural events to our members and to the community at large. Our ballrooms are often rented out for receptions, such as Bar Mitzvahs. We are just missing a fitness center, a garden and a pool.
The CCJC participated in the joint FSJU/IFCC/JCC Global Partnership Seminar in Israel.
