Toronto has a vibrant thriving Jewish community of over 250,000. Each JCC has a unique population; Downtown is diverse, largely unaffiliated, young and urban, Midtown is the center of the old Jewish community, transitioning to young, significantly orthodox and traditional, and the Suburban has a very large Israeli/Russian (60,000) and Canadian mix of very young families. Each center has its unique programming and challenges related to their communities.

Toronto JCCs participated in JCC Global’s mentoring/professional exchange program with 70 Kishinev, Moldova.
