Our JCC continues to outreach to the Jewish and general community and provides a welcoming hub for all who wish to enter our doors. We are hoping to continue to offer a wide spectrum of programs which attracts members of all ages and to continue to be the central Jewish agency that provides social service opportunities to those in need.
The JCC recently received one of 8 grants awarded by the Mayor of NYC to develop an Innovative Senior Center (ISC). The JCC’s social service program covers an extensive portion of Staten Island serving those in need regardless of ethnicity, age, religion, etc.
It is our hope to expand our current facility to add a school age playground and additional solar panels and other measures that contribute to the wellbeing of the environment.
Together with Redbridge JCC and Pisgat Zeev Community Center, the Staten Island JCC has been a member of the Tri Center Project. The JCC also participated in JCC Global’s Global Jewish Connections Program.
