Lijavetzky Ariela

Ariela has been working in Jewish Education since she finished high school, first as a teacher in Jewish schools, and then specializing in informal education. She is currently coordinating the Education Department at OHA Macabi in Buenos Aires, and is also the Youth Venture Coordinator for Ashoka Argentina.
Ariela studied Educational Sciences in Buenos Aires University. She is passionate about women empowerment and working with Youth, and believes that Jewish communities should share their knowledge and richness with the world.
Ariela coordinated a Schusterman Foundation regional gathering for Young Jewish professionals in Argentina in 2014 called Lazos, and coordinated Limud Buenos Aires in 2012.
She spent 6 months in Israel in 2011, doing an internship in an NGO which works with African Asylum seekers, through a Masa program. She has also been a Taglit madricha twice and Bekeff coordinator as well, taking youth on their first trip to Israel.
Ariela is an ROI Community member and a member of Nahum Goldman Fellowship. She volunteers in the Latin American Jewish Congress.
