The PIKAMA community centers, Ashkelon, Israel

The PIKAMA community centers consist of 11 branches, spread throughout the neighborhoods in Ashkelon.

The name PIKAMA translated freely as “multiple times”, is a testament to the center’s mission to enrich and enhance its communities’ lives with culture, art and sports.

The centers have a variety of activities for age groups starting at 3 months old all the way to senior citizens.

In addition to the many sports and extra-curricular activities, there are also many unique activities such as: community day care for infants and preschool, a cultural club for former USSR holocaust survivors, many formal choirs and dance groups and much much more!
