Randi Buergenthal, 1st Vice Chair, JCC of Greater Baltimore


Randi is currently First Vice Chair of the board of the JCC of Greater Baltimore and chair of 4Front: The Center for Teen Engagement. Throughout her involvement at the JCC, she has served as Vice Chair of the Board and led many committees and task forces. Randi is a past president of Beth Israel Congregation in Owings Mills, MD and past president of The American Marketing Association, Baltimore Chapter. In addition, she has held leadership roles on the boards of the Jewish Women’s Giving Foundation and Carroll Community Foundation. A graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program and ACHARAI: The Shoshanna S. Cardin Jewish Leadership Institute, Randi has received the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Azor Hof HaYam Leadership Award and was a member of the 2012 JCCA Esther Leah Ritz Emerging Leader Program.

A lifelong Baltimorean, Randi is currently a consultant for ResourceWorks, a management and human resources consulting firm. Prior to joining ResourceWorks, Randi was a founding partner of a marketing, training and strategic planning firm. She has led operations, account services and creative services for several regional advertising agencies. Randi indulged her passion for creativity and art by establishing a successful gallery and art studio, which she owned for six years. During this time, she spent several summers designing and directing art camps at a local community college

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Randi lives minutes from the JCC’s Owings Mills campus with her husband, two daughters and very large dog.
