Israel Memorial Day, Yom HaZikaron
This year, on Israel’s Memorial Day, Yom Hazikaron, individuals and families will not be able to personally greet and hug the families of the fallen. For that purpose, the Israel Association of Community Centers, together with Beit Avichai and many important organizations, created a website where memorial rooms will open up. You are welcome to join Memorial Day online events. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can open a meeting and tell their story - parents, siblings, widows, orphans, relatives, friends... and anyone can join, listen and remember. The site is in Hebrew and English and there are also translated video clips in Russian and Spanish.

Online Emergency Support Services
The experience of mourning, even in normal times, is characterized by a sense of deep loneliness. Mimaamakim ("Out of the depths") has responded to the Corona crisis by launching its emergency support services for bereaved families in the community, providing broad range of online assistance, including video chats and phone calls by qualified volunteers. All services are provided free of charge. Read more.
