JCC Global Strategic Plan 2025-2029



Following an 18-month strategic planning process that included extensive stakeholder engagement through online surveys, in-depth interviews, and discussions with staff and board members, the JCC Global Strategic Plan for 2025-2029 has been published. It aims to enhance Jewish Peoplehood and global connectivity between Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) while strengthening local communities through robust networks. It was conducted and written by Dr Ezra Kopelowitz and Dr Iris Posklinsky of Research Success Technologies LTD.

JCC Global and Haver Serbia Receive a Grant from the Pincus Fund


Applications are now accepted for “Da’at: Revitalizing Jewish Education and Leadership in the Former Yugoslavia Region”. This new program aims to empower Jewish leaders in the former Yugoslavia region to become effective Jewish educators within their communities and strengthen the regional network. This two-year innovative program will begin in March 2025 and will integrate online sessions, in person retreat in Slovenia and personal mentoring.

Following the JCC Global Budapest Retreat in December 2024, 31 JCCs worldwide launched collaborative initiatives across 10 global partnerships. Each partnership is designed to align with the unique characteristics and needs of the participating JCCs. The JCC Global staff team is orchestrating the process across many time zones, languages, and cultures.

Join the JCC Global Passover Online Zoom Call, March 26

In the spirit of unity and shared purpose, this year, the 31 JCCs, from around the world, that are leading the “JCC Global-from Good to Great” program will hold joint online events in preparation for the holiday of Passover.

You are invited to join us for the culminating event that will take place on

Wednesday, March 26 at 12:00 p.m. NY time/ 6:00 p.m. Israel time, for one hour.

Celebrate Jewish Excellence in Sports 

The International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame honours and celebrates Jewish athletes, leaders, and contributors who have left a lasting legacy on the global stage. Explore their stories and learn about the 2025 Class of Honourees. You are welcome to publicize and share with your communities.

Volunteer Opportunity: Help Israeli Teachers and Students with English

If you’re a native English speaker, you’re welcome to join ESRA's English Tutoring Program, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, and make a difference from anywhere in the world!

  • ESRA Teacher Chat: Help non-native English-speaking teachers improve their oral proficiency in 30-minute weekly Zoom sessions, using the BBC 6-minute English website. 15 sessions total. No Hebrew needed; training provided. Register here.

  • ESRA TOPS: Support 5th–9th graders in 30-40 minute weekly Zoom sessions, focusing on comprehension, reading, and conversation. 15 sessions total. Basic Hebrew and background check required. Training provided. Register here.
